About Julie Barham

I am fascinated by regeneration, inspired by the awesome power of weather and often stunned by its visual impact over land and sea. I am influenced by the contrast between large dramatic images and ethereal detail of shape and form.

Some of my recent work interprets the relationship between the sea and sky observed whilst crossing between islands of the Hebrides. A few reflect travels through Europe, whilst others share aspects I witnessed whilst living and teaching as a volunteer in Bali.
